Instead of receiving e-mail messages whenever they are posted on this
mailing list, the "Listproc" program at UC Davis can consolidate the
messages into a "digest" and e-mail them automatically to you.
Here's a repost of the information that I shared on 4/2/02 on how to
request a digest of the messages:
Only you, the subscriber, can request this change. (I can't help you with
this feature.) You need to send a message to listproc@ucdavis.edu
In the message text, simply type:
set seafood mail digest
Your footer (i.e., return address, reference to the mail server you are
using, etc.) needs to be turned off. Otherwise, Listproc may not be able
to read your command.
