    You can find an article on the concentrations of Pb, Cd and Hg (measured by AAS) in canned fish, incl 30 samples of tuna, availalbe on the Dutch market from different countries of origen, at

    http://www.keuringsdienstvanwaren.nl/download/rapporten/voedselveiligheid/011213_zwaremetalen_visconserven.pdf

    The article (PDF) can be found at the website of the Dutch Food Authority. It has a shot summary in English. Sorry the article is in Dutch, but the tables are self evident. Look at the table on page 7.

    To help you to understand the table:

    Tonijn = Tuna
    Zwaardvis = Swordfish (marlin?)
    Aantoonbaarheidsgrens = Detection limit
    Spanje = Spain
    Turkije = Turkey
    Morokko = Morocco
    Japan = Japan
    NL = The Netherlands (surely not produced Holland!, wrong label I guess)
    Frankrijk = France
    Indonesie = Indonesia
