    Hello,

I am an Hijiki seaweed importer. Recently, Canadian Food Inspection Agency
found great amount of Inorganic Arsenic from Hijiki seaweed. They, together
with Health Canada warned Canadian consumption of even eating a small amount of
    Hijiki is harmful.

Here is the link to CFIA's warning.
    http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/corpaffr/newcom/2001/20011029be.shtml

Does anyone know about US FDA's position on this specific warning from Canada
and any related regulation? I am also looking for how to get my product tested
for the contents of Inorganic Arsenic. My business is in Atlanta, GA.

    Regards,

    Esther
