UC Davis will Finally Evauate E-mail Anti-Virus Products

    A 6-week pilot project to evaluate three types of e-mail anti-virus
    software will commence on February 4, 2002. After March 15, the mailng
    list might be vulnerable if UC Davis is unable to negotiate a license
    contract. If this happens, UCD will attempt to limit the amount of time
    the mailing list server is without virus protection. Also I will notify
    this mailing list of the situation.
