FOOD MICROBIOLOGIST POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT - Louisiana State University
Assistant Professor, 12-month tenure track research/teaching (65/35)
position, Department of Food Science, LSU Agricultural Center.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate degree in food science, microbiology or
closely related discipline.
Responsibilities: Develop an independent research program, applying
conventional and advanced/rapid techniques for the determination of
microbial contaminants in foods and applying them to problems relevant to
food safety/HACCP. Teach at least 2 undergraduate courses, specifically
Food Microbiology and Food Safety, and one graduate course in Applied Food
Microbiology.
