To: Gabriel Titili and Seafood HACCP Mailing List
Fr: Pamela Tom, Mailing List Co-Owner
The list has been relatively quiet during the holiday season. If you feel
that you have missed a message from the seafood HACCP mailing list, you
can view the archived copies via:
http://seafood.ucdavis.edu/listserv/listserv.htm
In an effort to discourage opening viral attachments which were sent
via the HACCP mailing list, we are adding attached files to the
"unacceptable" content on this mailing list.
Attached files will remain on the "unacceptable" content list at least
until UC Davis finally installs antiviral software or firewall. I've been
informed that during January the UCD computer folks will be testing
antiviral software.
A complete list of acceptable and unacceptable content is on the Seafood
Network Information Center web site at:
http://seafood.ucdavis.edu/listserv/listinfo.htm
All new subscribers receive the above information in a welcome message
that is e-mailed to them.
As an alternative to sending attached files which sometimes are very
large, we suggest that postsers e-mail a brief announcement on the
availability of a file that they would like to share. Those subscribers
who are interested in the information can follow-up directly with the
poster.
[Gabriel, you are subscribed to the mailing list. If you are not
receiving messages, please check with your internet provider.]
