    The Pacific Fisheries Technologists meeting is scheduled for Feb. 24-27,
    2002 in Reno, NV. Registration information is on the SeafoodNIC website
    at: http://seafood.ucdavis.edu/organize/pft.htm

    Participants from industry, government agencies, universities and other
    interested parties are encouraged to attend the three days of
    presentations and discussions.

    The call for papers topics include:

               Aquatic Foods-Biochemistry, microbiology, processing
               Value-Added Products
               Seafood Marketing
               Seafood Processing
               Seafood Biochemistry
               Microbiology/Marine Toxins
               HACCP Issues
               Waste/By-Product Utilization
               Aquaculture
               Regulatory Issues (Current)

    In addition, there will be a session on caviar, and papers on roe
    processing would be appreciated.

    All abstracts for your presentations MUST be submitted by January 15,
