I am interested in Pacific whiting,( hake ) , merluccius productus and it's fat content and what may effect the fat content level in different product forms , whole round, H&G , skin on fillet , skin off fillet , and mince .
What is the normal fat content of whole fish and would it be any different after it was machine filleted producing a butter fly fillet skin on , and run through a Toyo 405 bone separator using a 3 or 5 mil drum .
Is there a reported difference in the fat content between Pacific whiting costal , outside stocks and inside Puget Sound stocks .
Has there been and reports on the accumulation of pesticides , herbicides , or similar contaminants in Pacific whiting or similar species currently or in the last few years .
