    It 's right that Turkish toilets are more adapted in some african countries
    but not for the reason you mentionned.Actually, it's adapted in all muslim
    countries because it helps in proceding to the so called "ablutions". These
    are a ceremonial where people are supposed to use water to clean the
    dirtiest parts of the body and particularly the genitals.Use of paper is not
    acceptable because it leaves dirt.Furthermore, the large use of water has to
    find its way out trough a sink that happens to be the toilet hole itself.By
    this mean, cleaning of the body as well as the toilet is made easier.
    It might be difficult to understand at first, but the observation of one
    "ablution" would totaly clarify its meaning.
