Pacific Fisheries Technologists 54th Annual Meeting
February 24-27, 2002 - Silver Legacy Hotel, Reno, Nevada
Contributions are invited for oral and poster presentations. Authors
should submit abstracts according to the guidelines given here. Topics of
the presentations may cover the themes of:
aquaculture and feeds,
biochemistry of aquatic foods,
microbiology of aquatic foods,
processing and emerging technologies of aquatic foods,
by-products from aquatic foods,
safety issues and aquatic foods,
economic and regulatory aspects of aquatic foods, and,
other current issues.
Please contact Dr. Norman Haard, PFT Program Chair, if you and others are
interested in a session(s) on a more focused topic. Plans are currently
underway to have a special session on caviar production and processing.
Instructions:
1. Submit a one-page text in English containing 200-300 words describing
the objective, the methodology, and a summary of the main results with a
short conclusion.
2. Type the title in bold letters.
3. Indicate the names, initials and affiliations on another line (Indicate
the presenting author with an asterisk).
4. Indicate if the abstract is for an oral presentation or a poster.
5. Indicate the topic under which authors wish to include their
presentation.
6. Student presenters should indicate whether they are master's or
doctoral students and if they want to be considered for a PFT travel
award.
7. Abstracts should be sent by e-mail or by regular post on a disk in MS
Word. Fax copies will not be accepted.
8. Be sure to include your full name and address, fax number and e-mail
details.
9. All abstracts must be sent by December 15, 2001 to:
