Hi,
I'm sure you're all aware of the European emergency rule that restricts
coniferous wood pallets, etc. going to Europe without heat treating,
fumigating, or chemical pressure treatment.
Shouldn't freezing also kill the nematodes of concern? Most seafood
products going into Europe are frozen for weeks or months on the pallets
at 15-20 below F. I would think this should be enough to kill any
nematodes. Any comments?
