    In June 2001 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration released the "Fish &
    Fisheries Products Hazards & Controls Guidance: Third Edition." The FDA
    revises and reissues the Guidance every two to three years as the state of
    knowledge advances relative to fish and fishery products hazards and
    controls.

    On the Seafood Network Information Center website, I have posted the
    summary of most significant changes as featured on pages 3-10 of "Chapter
    1: Introduction" of the new the guidance:
