Via this message I'm asking Mike, Debbie or Ann (UCD POSTMASTERS) to please
respond to the seafood listserv regarding actmovie.exe.
Before departing for my various meetings starting on 6/20, I asked the UC
Davis postmaster to please keep an eye on the Seafood Listserv. I think
that one of the postmasters can provide an answer on ACTMOVIE.EXE.
My advice to the listserv is to never open an unsolicited .exe file, even if
it's from someone you know. Check with the sender first to see if they
actually e-mailed a message to you. Quite often these worms and viruses
generate their own messages without the knowledge of the e-mail address
owner.
Pamela Tom, listserv co-owner.
