    Dear all,

Has anyone investigated or suggest where I might find information on
the bacterial counts in Macrobrachium rosenbergii raised in tropical
aquaculture ponds? What I am trying to find is total plate counts for
the surface, alimentary canal and meat at harvest and whether there
is a correlation between levels and the TPC of the pondwater/bottom
    mud.

I'd be most grateful for any assistance. Similar information on other
aquaculture organisms would be very useful if I draw blank with
    Macrobrachium.

    Thanks

    Ivor
