    Dear Group :

We have been informed that wax-coated paperboard packing cartons for fish
and fisheries products (specifically fresh chilled H&G/G&G tunas) exported
to the EU are no longer allowed because of costs and problems associated
with destruction of this refuse. Does someone in the group have an EU or EEC
directive specifically stipulating this new ruling ? Does the US FDA also
envisage implementing a similar ruling any time in the near future?

Thank you in advance for your help and guidance.

    Charles Daxboeck
