Subject: Mussel meat supplies
A client is seeking supplies of frozen mussel meat. He is based in the UK
and currently uses home produced and imported Mytilus edulis and NZ green
lipped mussels Perna canaliculus. The M. edulis meats are too small for his
market and he wants similar meats to those of the green mussel does anyone
know of other commercially available species. I can only find reference to
these two.
