    Seafood Research Extension, Louisiana State University Agricultural Center, Baton Rouge, LA will offer two Seafood HACCP Alliance Courses in May 2001:

    1. Sanitation Control Procedures for Processing Fish and Fishery Products. May 8, 2001. See the detail at:

    2. Seafood Basic HACCP. May 9-11, 2001. See the detail at:

    Both courses provide the "Certificate of Basic SCP Course Completion" and the "Certificate of Basic HACCP Course Completion" certified by the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO). The certificates will be recognized by both State and Federal authorities as evidence of special training in preparation to comply with the current HACCP regulation.
