    On February 14, 2001 the U.S. General Accounting Office issued a 66-page
    report to the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Foresty
    entitled: "Food Safety, Federal Oversight of Seafood Does Not Sufficiently
    Protect Consumers" (GAO-01-204, January 31).

    The report (requires Adobe Acrobat reader which can be downloaded free
