    I believe we could all agree that this listserv should not be used for
    personal comments but in the case of J. Peralta I belive a little compassion
    should be exhibited. We live in a wonderful free country and suffered thru
    a Presidential contest fraught with many problems however we did not have
    any of the problems that his country has had. The man is simply saying that
    they have a new day and is expressing happiness and relief. I cannot
    believe that this listserv is so sacrosanct that it cannot indulge him in
    this simple comment.

    -Seafood conferences, short courses and workshops on HACCP, seafood
    quality, etc.
    -Short announcements for seafood proceedings and publications
    -Job opportunities in the seafood technology field
    -Industry inquiries on seafood processing and safety issues
    -Seafood regulatory issues

    UNACCEPTABLE content includes:
    -Commercial activity (self promotion of products and services)
    -Cross posting of messages from other mailing lists or bulletin boards
    -Harassment
    -Political messages

    Violations of unacceptable content on this listserv may result in
    subscriber termination.

    I prefer not to see any further dicussion on today's post or any future
    posts related to political messages. Take it elsewhere and don't junk up
    my inbox!
