In addition to the apology that I received from Richard Chivers, see
below, I also checked verified that each virus hoax is discussed on the
"Urban Legends and Folklore" web site at:

    http://urbanlegends.about.com/science/urbanlegends/cs/virushoaxes/index.htm

If you suspect that your message contains a virus, I recommend that you
check it out first at the above web address before e-mailing a virus alert
    to the seafood listserv.

It is highly recommended that you update your computer with antivirus
protection software (for example I update my system weekly using Norton
    Antivirus 2000, http://www.symantec.com/nav/nav_9xnt/)

Thanks to all regarding their concern on internet viruses.

    Pam,

Very sorry, it appears I fell for a virus hoax, as several people have
    already told me.
