    Dear Friends,
We are in a position to import and export frozen scallop, frozen Alaska
pollock fillet, frozen pink salmon fillet, frozen keta salmon fillet,
frozen Spanish mackerel fillet, frozen pacific mackerel fillet, frozen
arkshell meat, swimming crab, and frozen kuruma prawn from China and Japan.
We would like to know about the following:

1.Shall the package of seafood be labeling on top? Does the labeling Is
    necessary or not?
For the description on the inner package as the requirement of FDA, I was
told that it is not required to the big package, that is printed or attached
on inner bag, because the scallops produced in China for USA is usually
packed with 5LB each inner package, not small package, small one will be
sold to supper market, which is usually required.Any idea?

2.What forms do we need to apply to FDA as first importer? We know that we
need to yield a completed form called Hazard Analysis Critical Control
Point (HACCP) to FDA. I have one copy of the booklet Fish and Fisheries
Products Hazards and Controls Guide (Second Edition) with me. If we only
need to yield a completed HACCP plan form we can do it right now. If not,
what additional forms are needed before we import seafoods from China and
    Japan?
3.Do we have to go the HACCP Training class before we import and export
    seafoods from USA?

By the way, The all of our factories in China have HACCP and CCIB
    verification Certificate.
    Thanks!
    Sue Sabol
