Allergic Reaction to Crustaceans

    Dear Listers,

    I have a friend who has an allergic reaction when she eats crustaceans that
    were previously frozen, but has no reaction when the crustaceans are cooked
    live and eaten fresh. This includes various species.

    Any thoughts about what might be the cause of the allergic reaction?
