There are no easy answers in ice treatment of fish. Each species has to be
treated differently due to the physical make up of its protective outer
layers. To over simplify with an example: a person wearing a goose down
jacket is less likely to become cold in a snow storm as someone getting off a
plane in the same location wearing his Hawaiian party shirt.
