    Hi Angela,

I am glad that you enjoyed the stories. I wish that others
on the mailing list would share more of their stories.

As for the glowing fish, there are a few things to remember:
    1) The bacteria do very badly in fresh water. Icing and rinsing cut
down on the chances of seeing the bioluminescence. I picked up trash
fish that fishermen were discarding at the local fishing pier. Those
fish never saw fresh water. 2) The glow is VERY weak. I had to let
my eyes accommodate to total darkness for quite a while. 3) The
decomposition was very far advanced. Downright awful. I think
that's why my classmates remembered it so well!

    Good luck!
    George
