I share your conviction but I bet that lots of oranizations do not want to
see their names being associated with any kind of public exchanges involving
controversial issues that may compromise their market image or may
constitute a disclosure of propriatory information and that kind of message
does not have to be very explicit to be understood. There are limits for
freedom of expresion in particular outside business organizations and some
even little sujects may be off topic for one reason or another. Since those
things are not always clearly spelled out therefore lots of people prefer to
stay on the safe side.
