    Whole fish will yield approx. 20-25% fishmeal.

    Aquafeed diets vary in the amount of fishmeal and oil anywhere from 10%
    fishmeal up to approx. 50% fishmeal.

    And to anticipate the next question, most of the fish caught to produce
    fishmeal are considered industrial and not suitable for food use (too small,
    too bony or too oily and caught in very large volumes).
