John, thanks for lending some reason to this discussion. It was beginning
to sound like a meeting of the Center for Non-Science in the Public
Disinterest! Just calculate the level of YPS in the salt, vs. the amount of
salt consumed in a serving of smoked fish (exposed to sunlight?), and it is
far below those levels that you discussed.
Folks, if you are still worried, just keep those almond cookies out of the
sunlight! (The rancidity may get you before the CN does!)
