Dear Friends
I would like to know the best method of extraction of
carotenoid compounds from Pink perch ( Nemipterus
japonicus). I would like to assess the discolouration
effect on this fish due to gamma radiation. As the
colour pigments are scattered all over the body, I
would be happy if anybody suggests me a suitable
method for proper evaluation of these colouring
pigments.Is there any report or study regarding the
arrest of this discolouration effect by treatment of
antioxidants or anyother means?
