Liz, they formerly said that you can't get a virus from e-mail--you have to
open an attachment, or an executable file, etc. But with the message of
yesterday about the "WScript" virus which comes in with e-mail and
multiplies itself without any action from the user--good grief, if this is
so, I'm going back to snail-mailing stone tablets--pretty virus-proof!
After much consternation and reformatting, my son's computer is back up and
running, but now he's going to keep his anti-virus up to date!
