I tried to reach the FAO in Rome five times this morning but everyone I try to reach is either away or out to lunch or has a phone number that doesn't work.
I am writing a short, chatty article on aquaculture for our local newspaper.... Can someone on the list provide me with the latest world aquaculture production figures? Does aquaculture provide about 20% of the world's aquatic production. I am just looking for a total figure in millions of metric tons. If someone can provide a percentage breakdown between seaweed, invertebrates and fish that would be useful too. Thank you.
