Hi Everyone,

I have been reading this thread with great interest. For me,
the distinction between frozen and fresh salmon is pretty much
academic. I like the texture of fresh salmon, but I love the flavor
of all salmon. So it's no big deal.

However I can see where a supplier may want a good way to
assure that the salmon has not been frozen. And where a student
might have lots of fun devising a quick spot test.

Is there need for an unambiguous spot test for previously
frozen fish? Would it be worth working on? Or are present day
methods good enough?

Thanks!
