We moved from Manhattan into this 1925 Brooklyn military warehouse on 2/19/65.
On Tuesday, 1/18/00 we'll be in our own brand new building in "beautiful
downtown Jamaica, Queens". "We" includes the entire FDA Brooklyn complex -
Northeast Regional Office, Regional Laboratory, and New York District Office.
There will be plenty of on-site parking for visitors, staff and official
government vehicles. Also, the LIRR Jamaica station is just a few blocks away
and the subway (E, J & Z lines) is around the corner. We're just a few blocks
from the Van Wyck Expressway (second exit up from the Belt Parkway, just north
of JFK Int'l Airport)..
