Hi Karen:
I agree. Let's wait to see who wants to present, and we will adjust
accordingly. The other idea that I have is that we all submit a really brief
(one page or less) list in bullet format of research projects and extension
activities. Here is an example of mine:
* Completion of Organic Winegrowing Manual with other UC authors
* Presentation on Organic Winegrowing in a Going Organic Seminar with
CCOF in February in Lake County
* Research project at the UC Hopland Research and Extension Center
comparing Organic, Biodynamic and Conventional Winegrowing on soil quality,
carbon budgets and fruit quality of Cabernet sauvignon
* Serving on steering committee for IFOAM Organic Viticulture
Conference in Modena, Italy June 2008.
This would be very useful to UC Administration to demonstrate what is going
on collectively in addressing the ANR Program Priority of organic
agriculture.

Glenn Mc.

Subject: Re: Organic Farming Workgroup Meeting Planned for November 13th
Dear all,
I suggest that we allow the meeting to go longer if we get enough
people who want to report on their research in what is now the 1:20 - 2:20
slot.
