Announcing Two Important Nematology Events; March 26 and 27, 2007

March 27
The 39th Annual California Nematology Workshop will be held from 8 am to
4:30 pm on March 27 at the Kearney Agricultural Center, 9249 South Riverbend
Avenue, Parlier, CA 93648. The program is attached. There is no fee for
attendance but registration is requested. The Workshop is intended to
convey useful and current information on nematode problems and their
management for growers, advisors, educators, regulators, PCAs, applicators
and industry personnel. The program and registration form are attached.
PCA and Applicator Continuing Education Credit will be awarded.

March 26
The annual meeting of the UC ANR Nematology Workgroup will be held at the
Kearney Agricultural Center on March 26 from noon to 5 pm. The agenda is
attached. The meeting is open to UC, USDA, CDFA, industry and commodity
representatives and to grower clientele. It is the opportunity for those
working on, or interested in, nematode issues in California to discuss
priorities and opportunities for collaboration. This year, a considerable
part of the program is dedicated to discussion of future directions of
Nematology programs in California.

Travel funds are available for UC personnel. Options for accommodations are
appended to the Workgroup agenda.
