Subject: [pest-managers] FW: Secretary Johanns Releases Farm Bill Listening Tour Summaries

USDA has released documents based on input received at the Farm Bill listening sessions.

Several summaries of particular interest to you, including Agricultural Pests & Diseases, Specialty Crops, Organic Farming, EQIP, and Research, Education & Econonomics. Go to www.usda.gov for links to the summaries.

I have only scanned the summaries, but they appear to contain some useful (specific) suggestions. We will be wise to look for ways to help address the needs identified in these documents and make sure we highlight successes in doing so.
