SAREP recently released a call for proposals. Some highlights of this
funding opportunity:
* Typical projects $5,000 - $10,000 (max.)
* We have a total of $60,000 available for these small grants
* Avail to UCCE Advisors and Directors
* Must partner with community based organizations
* Brief proposal required - only 4 pages for main text
* Submit proposals via email attachment - no paper copies required
* Proposals due Wed. March 15th
We'll be funding small projects addressing aspects of sustainable community
food system issues including linking farmers and consumers, new
marketing/distribution approaches, economic development opportunities for
both communities and farmers, etc. Please see the full request for
