at 12:00 noon. Cynthia Johnson is one of the speakers (her bio is below).
Cynthia Johnson was born and raised in San Jose, California. She attended UC
Davis as an undergraduate student and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in
Dietetics/Nutrition in 1987. Cynthia then attended Vanderbilt University in
Nashville, Tennessee, and completed a Dietetic Internship in 1990. She
attended San Jose State University as a graduate student and received a
Masters
of Public Health degree in Community Health Education in 1993. She worked at
Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose as a Clinical Dietitian for 4 years before
joining Sacramento County in 1994 where she worked as a Health Educator for 5
years. Cynthia’s currently working as the Health Program Coordinator for the
Sacramento County Childhood Illness & Injury Prevention Program. She has a
3-year old son, Joshua, who is absolutely adorable and is 3 ˝ feet tall!
She is
also a huge fan of the hit TV shows “The Practice,” “Oprah” and “ER.” In her
spare time, she enjoys spending time with her son, going to Marine World and
going to the movies to see a good show.
