NDA members,
For those of you who missed todays meeting - I just wanted to share with
you an important suggestion that the WIC and UCDMC representatives gave to
us in order to make us stronger candidates for the most demanding
nutrition jobs/dietetic internships out there: They recommended getting
involved in volunteer activities, internships, and developing your
leadership skills and building bridges through contacts.
Along that note, I want to remind you that there are still lots of
great opportunities for community nutrition activites available and NDA
can help you find them. You need no previous experience and amount of time
commitment varies (some as little as couple of hours to as much you can
provide). Besides, these experiences can be fun, educational and
rewarding! Please respond to this e-mail if interested and I can provide
