A word of caution. This talk is not about science. The speaker is a Creationist offended by science's silence about a Supreme Being. Science, as I learned it and as I practice it, makes no assumptions and draws no conclusions about the existence or non-existence of supernatural forces responsible for the phenomena under investigation. There is no conflict between evolutionary theory and creationist faith. This is a religious argument, not a scientific one. Enjoy the (very lively, I'm sure) discussion!

To all:
For all you free thinkers and science students, Phillip Johnson, a
distinguished law professor from UC Berkeley, will be coming this monday,
march 6th at 7 pm to speak at freeborn hall about "why naturalism rules
the academic mind and why it shouldn't." this talk is recommended for
students from all backgrounds and dives into evolution/creation somewhat.
i listened to dr. johnson last year and he is definitely a worthwhile
speaker to listen to. in last year's talk, he filled freeborn, so try
to get there 20 minutes early. i will be taping the NDA meeting, so don't
miss this thought provoking event!
