To all:
the NDA newsletter, <italic>Nutrition News</italic>, is available now in
the MU <bold>across</bold> from the information desk as well as in the
east wing on the first floor of meyer hall on the nutrition board.
<italic>Nutrition News</italic> will also be available at meetings.
the NDA website, after the trc2 provider fried, has a new adress at
http://trc.ucdavis.edu/nda. check out the site for updates to events, NDA
news, critiques of local internships, and other student resources.
there are two PAID job opportunities at the UCDMC. freshman and
sophomres, read on, you can get this too. you would work saturdays from
9-5, starting feb 5, with the option of working 9-1 or 1-5. the work will
be with overweight children in a clinical setting. student instructors
will counsel the children in nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle change as
these pertain to weight loss. this is a great opportunity to learn
valuable counseling skills, nutrition work experience, and earn money!
preequisites: desire and the ability (or desire) to learn how to work
with children (since most of us want to be parents, this should apply to
everyone.) contact Linda Greeve at 754-5400 ASAP, i mean it! this job
will fill up FAST.
