Its not too early to start thinking about winter quarter...
We are looking for senior level nutrition sci/community nutrition/dietetics
students who are interested in being a reader for Nutrition 10 this winter
quarter.
You can earn 1 unit of 197T and help out with one of the most popular
classes on
campus by using your nutrition knowledge! See what it is like to help run &
organize a lecture class. You would work with Dr. Liz Applegate and the
graduate student TA's for the class.
Duties include: helping to proctor the exams (2 midterms & final), grading
exams, AND writing a short (2-3 page) paper on the insights that you gained
from the experience.
You must be: a senior, available for the exams and blocks of time in the 1-2
days after exams to do grading, and DEPENDABLE !!
There are 2 midterm exams and a final given for Nut 10. Exams are given in 2
sessions to make the numbers of students managable: 10:30-12 noon and
7-9pm.
You would be expected to be present at each of the exam times to help proctor
to exams. (there is also a review session 1-2 days before the exam in the
evening, that is optional to attend)
We need 4 students to fill the positions.
