Position: Dean of Library and Learning Resources; full-time; 12 months;
salary range: $7,202-$8,796 $$$
Duties: The Dean provides leadership for library programs, college tutoring
services and other learning resources programs; manages and evaluates
managers, supervisors, department chairs, faculty and staff; carries out
complex projects and special programs.
Qualifications: Experience and training, typically Master's degree or
equivalent from accredited school, 3 years of full time-instructional,
student and/or support services experience in an institution of higher
education; and one year's experience in a lead role such as a department
chair. Knowledge of computer-based technology for various competencies
related to work; organizational skills. Preferred: Masters degree in
Library Science or Information Management; experience in librarianship and
teaching; two years experience in library management; fiscal planning
skills.
