    POSITION: Work off-site, June 1, 2002 through September 30, 2002 on a
    curriculum guide and materials to enhance the educational value of
    "Sacramento History Online", a website of Sacramento history documents,
    funded through grants. The project sponsors are the California State
    Railroad Museum Library, the Sacramento Room of the Sacramento Public
    Library,the Sacramento Archives and Museum Collection Center, and the
    California History Room of the California State Library in partnership with
    the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE).

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Create an instructional guide and educational
    activities based on site images, collections and narration; work with the
    Project Manager and SCOE staff to create an educational game using
    Flash,writing and editing content and providing storyboard and navigation.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    *BA/BS degree in education or related field; or equivalent in education and
    experience
    *Experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
    *Experience or knowledge of Web technologies such as HTML, Flash,
    information design/architecture, Dreamweaver, and Photoshop.
    *Must possess knowledge and demonstrated understanding of California state
    history and Learning Models/Standards for Grade 4.
    *Strong written and oral communication skills.
    *3-5+ years successful experience in an Education environment.
    *Experience in classroom instruction a plus; MA/MS degree is very desirable.
