Position: Facilitator for County Library Needs Assessment, $300 daily,
approximately six days, travel costs negotiable.
The Del Norte County Public Library and Del Norte County Unified School
District Boards are requesting statements of qualifications from individuals
qualified to lead a community group through an assessment of countywide
library needs.
Tasks for this project include:
· Facilitating one meeting with each focus group in the communities of
Klamath, Gasquet, Smith River, and Crescent City
· Guiding several meetings with key library leaders from Public Library and
Schools
· Assisting key leaders to prioritize projects
· Writing a report of comments, ideas, needs, and priorities
· Researching needed information, depending upon ideas generated
· Presenting results of the study to both boards
Preferred qualifications:
· Experience with public or school libraries
· Experience in planning community projects
· Library Media Teacher, Library Media Specialist, or Masters in Library
Science certificates
