Position: District Librarian, starting salary range $3995-$4490.
Duties: The new District Librarian will plan to remodel the existing
facility or build a new one. Assumes responsibility for management of all
district library services, supervising expenditures, and communicating with
Library Commission, trustees, and the public. Investigates sources of
revenue and directs fund raising. Selects, trains and evaluates personnel.
Performs professional library work involving library automation, reference,
acquistions and processing.
Requirements: MLS from accredited school. Prefered: Experience in
supervisory and managerial position in a public library setting.
Exceptional skills in library planning, business, leadership, budgeting,
managerial, fund raising and marketing.
