You know, completely independent of the ethical/moral/legal/financial and
important artistic implications that Michael brings up here, when I'm at
a movie and I hear a clear reference to Mahler, Bruckner, or even Ives -
or whomever, I usually find that a pleasurable experience. I find it
somehow very reassuring. It's one of the few things aboutu the
contemporary movie-going experience that I find to be-- including the
volume at which that the same music is played. Take from that what you
will. Maybe I just have hopelessly bourgeois ears.
