    Some other interesting sources include articles and book by William Weber on
    the rise of concert society in England, James Parakilas on the formation of the
    canon (in Repercussions a few years ago), Valerie Goertzen on Clara Schumann,
    and a forthcoming book by Kern Holoman on the Societe du Concerts in Paris.
    Sorry I don't have more detailed bibliographic info handy.
