Crowell & Moring LLP has an immediate opening for a Reference Librarian.
This position requires a Masters in Library Science from an
A.L.A.-accredited program and one to three years of related experience. The
candidate must have substantial knowledge of legal reference materials;
major online databases, Internet resources, and Windows software programs;
effective oral and written communication skills; and the ability to
effectively prioritize competing demands.
Responsibilities include providing research and reference service to the
Firm on legal, business, and general topics; preparing subject
bibliographies, pathfinders, and usage guides on library resources; and
providing bibliographic instruction to the Firm regarding research
resources.
