Is anyone else as annoyed as I am at the new supplementation format for
the Virginia Administrative Code?
West has changed the format from bound pamphlets (which took just
seconds to put in the binders) to looseleaf format. In addition, the
separate freestanding supplements now have their own binders which take
up additional shelf space, even though the binders are not nearly full.
What annoys me even more is the shoddy way in which the change happened
- the pages arrived before the new supplement binders, the shrink
wrapping didn't correspond to volume breaks, the page breaks were not
clearly defined, and eventually when the new supplement binders arrived,
they were sent without spine labels!
Thanks for letting me vent - I am just amazed at how we seem to be
always paying more for less service.
