Re: .gov in URL--states' homepages

A few months ago I tried accessing all states' official pages using
www.state.<state>.us(e.g. www.state.oh.us, www.state.mi.us). It still
works for all states except Hawaii, and its URL is www.hawaii.gov. The US
domain registry <www.nic.us> also has naming conventions for county and
municipal level agencies, and some counties and cities do have URLs that
follow them. But then not every local jurisdiction has a website, and some
cities use .com and .org domain. Some city names don't even show up in
their URLs.
